Our story

From cheese retail to endorsements from Mike Bongiorno. This is how a small business from Brianza became a world leader in the production of fine cured meats.

The Foundation and the Paolo Rovagnati Prize

The Paolo Rovagnati Foundation is a non-profit organization set up to work towards objectives of social solidarity. Active in the fields of scientific research, social services and health care, culture, education and philanthropy, the Foundation cooperates with public and private companies in Italy and internationally, demonstrating Rovagnati’s deep commitment to turning ideas into action.

As a keen observer of the world and someone responsibly involved in social life, Paolo Rovagnati was skilled at translating his values into his entrepreneurial work from a very young age. Established to honour his memory, the Paolo Rovagnati Prize is awarded to individuals and organisations that have distinguished themselves for their entrepreneurial, educational and social commitment to the community. For their courage and the values they have demonstrated in their work, past winners of the prize include the non-profit Art for Sports, founded by Bebe Vio, the Columbus Citizens Foundation, and Lidia Bastianich.
